Pandit Ravi Shankar is the alternate name of Sitar. He was
born on 7th April, 1920 in Varanasi as Robindro Shaunkor Chowdhury. He
was one of them who introduce Indian Classical music to world, when whole world
was following to western music, he performing on the Sitar and popularized it throughout
the world.
