Alka
Yagnik was born on 20th March, 1966 in Calcultta (Kolkata, WB). At
the age of six, she started singing for AIR, Calcutta. Her first song was in
the film Payal Ki Jhankar but she got popularity from film LAWARIS, MERE ANGANE
MEIN TUMAHARA KYA KAAM HAI……after this she grab much popular from song EK DO TEEN
CHAAR…FILM TEZAB. She has sung in every language of India and worked with
almost every music directors with a carrer spanning three decades.
