from National School of Drama, New Delhi in 1963. She is a movie writer and
director. She has written and directed many Hindi and Marathi film and plays,
director of many award winning movies such as Sparsh, Katha, Disha etc. Written
and directed many TV serials such as Hum Panchhi Ek Chaal Ke, Partyana, Behna.
Directed many documentaries movis such as Helping Hand, Talking Book, Captain
Laxmi, Waran Orchestra, Choodiyan etc. Padma
Bhushan awared received from Government of India. She is an idol personality in every civic society.
