Legendry actress Nargis Dutt was born on 1st
June, 1929 as Fatima Rashid. Her debut film was Talash-e-Haq as a child artist,
as a heroine her first film was Tamanna. Tamanna was also debut film of Manna
dey as a playback singer. Nargis Dutt is
well known for her role in film Mother India. Her memorable films are Barsaat,
Andaz, Awaara, Deedar, Shree 420, Babul, Aadhi Raat, Aah, Jagte Raho, Deedar,
Hulchul, Lajwanti, Chori Chori, Raat Aur Din and many mores. Nargis worked with
the great actor Raj Kapoor in several films. Nargis and Raj Kapoor was one of
the best romantic pair of Silver Screen. Nargis Dutt died on 3rd
May, 1981.
