Meena Kumari is known as The Tragedy Queen (Queen of
Sorrow), in both ways as per her films and as per her real-life. She was born
on 1st August 1930 in Muslim family, her father was an actor and her
mother was a stage actreess. Meeana Kumari’s childhood name was Mahjabeen Bano.
Mahjabeen mean – forhead is like Moon. She started her film career as child
artist in film Farzand-e-Watan. Her early adult acting film was Veer Ghatokach.
She gained fame with her role as a heroine in film Baiju Bawra. She was great
actress and Shayar. Her life and prosperous carrer ended with tragedy, due to
troubled relationship, she died from liver cirrhosis in 1972.

30 March - Birthday actress Devika Rani
30 March Death Anniversary lyricist Aanand Bakshi.
Anand Bakshi was great poet and lyricist of Hindi Cinema. In
a career spanning almost five and half decades, he wrote many memorable songs for Hindi
films. Born on 21st July, 1930 in Rawalpindi, British India. After
partition he came to Lucknow and wanted to playback singer and got chance in
film Mome Ki Gudiya alongwith Lata Mangeshkar. But get success in lyrics. He got his break writing song in film Bhala
Aadmi, and then he found success in film Jab Jab Phool Khile. After this film he
became establish lyricist in Bollywood.
29 March - Birthday actor Jagdeep
Jagdeep was known for his famous dialogue – Ama Hamara Naam
Aisye Hi Soorma Bhopali Nahin Hai, from film SHOLAY. Born on 29 March, 1939 in
Datiya. His real name was Syed Ishtiyaq Ahmed Jaffery. He started his film
career as a child artist extra, then to a child artist. He is also known for
comic roles and as a horror movies artist.
Birthday actor Akshay Khanna
Son of actor Vinod Khanna, born on 28March, 1975. His debut
film was Himalyaputra, this film was not successful at box office. But his performance
in film Border was much appreciated and earned him the Filmfare Best Debut
Award nomination. After that lot of unsuccessuful film baged in his credit. He
acted in film Taal, this film became a critical and commercial success. Film
Dil Chahta Hai turnced out to be a turing poing in his career. After this film Humraaz,
Hungama, Hulchul, Race was also hit film.

S.N.Tripathy was a singer, music director, screen play
writher, actor in other words he was a film maker in Bollywood. Born in Banaras
(UP). Got training in classical music from V.N.Bhatkhande’s Morris College of Music, Lucknow (UP) and
lesson in light music and folk music from Maina Devi, Lucknow(UP).
